The Cinema Studio

Valencia Cinema Studio is run by Melanie C who has been trained in many different acting techniques over the years. She has worked in front of and behind the camera, as well as in casting, acting and dialects coaching. The studio is located in Ruzafa, is beautiful sunny Valencia, Spain. Classes and workshops are offered at the studio and in the online studio as well. Coaching is available for individual actors or an ensemble of actors who are ready to get out there, whether for a specific film or theatre project or to orepare for auditions and booked gigs. The studio focuses on assisting actors with their self tapes, audition prep as well as preparation and confidence to help with the success of a booked gig. The studio focuses on coaching actors with our regular weekly on-camera classes for all levels, however we can also work closely with an actor for their self tapes and audition prep. We take a close look at the script and how to learn lines pre-shoot and we practice taking direction while performing a scene. Our weekly classes are a great way for students to keep up their craft while also collecting reel/videobook footage. The studio offers additional filming and/or editing services if required. The studio also speciailzes in accent reduction and dialects coaching for both native and non-native speaking actors. With Acting in English  the aim is to be able to assist the actor in the transition from their native language to comfortably and naturally communicating, feeling, listening, responding and acting in English. Whether online on the stage or in front of the camera, coaching is a necessary tool for the auditioning or working actor. As well as acting, we offer movement, filmmaking and writing classes and workshops, which are very useful to actors, but also of interest to budding or established writers and filmmakers, or people looking to try something new and creative.
